Premium genetics.
Sunnyside Wagyu offers consistent, high-quality genetics to enhance your herd and improve your Wagyu breeding production.
We track our cattle's performance from the day they are born. By utilising Australian Wagyu Associations genomics and BREEDPLAN data, we make informed breeding decisions that optimise results.
We take pride in operating a sustainable cattle production system on our grazing property.
Animal health and the provision of high-quality feed are just as important to our business as investing in genetics. Creating the right environment for exceptional genetics to reach their full potential involves two key components.

A RICH LEGACY
Wagyu breeding.
Nestled in the heart of the Inverell area of Northern NSW, we take great pride in our exceptional Fullblood Wagyu herd. Each animal is meticulously bred to ensure we produce outstanding sires and females that truly stand out in the industry. Our annual Wagyu sale presents a unique opportunity for discerning investors to acquire superior genetics, featuring premium bulls, semen and a carefully selected range of females and embryos. We’re committed to quality and excellence in every aspect of our breeding program.
We offer the market the opportunity to invest in well-crafted and refined genetics through our annual sale of Wagyu Bulls, semen and selected groups of females and embryos.
Alongside our Fullblood Wagyu herd, we produce commercial Crossbreed Wagyu cattle, including F1 and F2 Angus-cross Wagyus. Breeding our cattle within commercial markets has enabled us to develop strong relationships with leading Wagyu feedlots and supply chains. We understand what is required to sell into these increasingly competitive markets.
Our family-run business is run by third-generation producers Jono and Robyn Elphick alongside Peter and Sandra Krause, who started the Wagyu breeding journey in 1995. The dynamic value of the Wagyu breed has infused the success of our beef production.
